Maybe you've never held a hook. Maybe you last crocheted forty years ago. Either way, this kit starts from the very first loop. The video lessons show every stitch up close and explain it in plain words. Pause and replay as often as you like, and hold the screen as close as you want. The yarn is thick enough to see every stitch, and your first friend takes about 2–3 relaxed hours, spread over as many afternoons as you like.
Shipping & returns
Shipping
- Every order is packed by hand and ships within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays go out the next business day.
- After it ships, delivery usually takes 7–12 business days. That's about 8–14 business days from when you order.
- Free shipping on orders over $30. You also get a free keychain set at $50 and a free Pando kit at $75. Any other shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Sending it to a grandchild? Just enter their address as the shipping address at checkout and we'll ship it straight to their door.
- We email you a tracking number when your order ships. Tracking can take 2–4 days to start updating.
- International orders may have to pay customs fees or import duties. These aren't included in our prices.
Returns
- You have 30 days after your order arrives to ask for a return. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and come with proof of purchase.
- Email support@itsthebobs.com first. If we approve the return, we'll send you a return label and instructions. We can't accept packages sent back without a request.
- If something arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, tell us right away and we'll make it right.

I've truly never crocheted. Is this too hard?
No. This kit was designed for absolute beginners: thick yarn, one simple stitch repeated, photo instructions and video tutorials. If you can tie a shoelace you can do this.
How long does one take?
About 2-3 hours for your first one, faster after that. Most people finish in a single evening.
Do I need to buy anything else?
Nothing. Yarn, hook, needle, stitch holders, safety eyes, stuffing, instructions and a pouch are all in the bag. Accessory colours are shipped at random.
Is it safe for kids?
Great for ages 8+ with a grown-up nearby — the kit contains a hook, needle and small parts. Finished friends are safe to cuddle.
What if mine goes wrong?
Unravel and start again — the yarn is reusable. And if you're still stuck, send us a photo and we'll tell you exactly which row to fix.
